Julius is a chemist, research and innovation management expert and business adviser. He currently serves in the position of Principal Scientist and Manager for Research, Innovation Coordination Units (presently BioInnovate Africa and the Regional Scholarship and Innovation Fund (Rsif)) at the International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology (icipe) in Nairobi, Kenya. He is also a co-chair of the International Advisory Committee on the Global Bioeconomy (IACGB).
