Hambulo Ngoma is an Agricultural Economist at CIMMYT's Sustainable Agrifood Systems program, based in Harare. He leads or co-leads socio-economic components of several projects on sustainable intensification, conservation agriculture, scaling and mechanization in South and East Africa, mainly in Malawi, Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. Spanning the development-environment nexus, his current research focuses on adoption, scaling, policy analysis and impact assessment, with special interest in policy options to nudge sustainable agricultural technology adoption.
