Nico Janssen is Programme Manager for the Agricultural Livelihoods portfolio at the IKEA Foundation. Nico joined the IKEA Foundation in 2019 after working for two decades in developing countries in smallholder based systems. Nico has lived and worked in Tanzania,
Cambodia, Vietnam and Burkina Faso.

This gives him a wealth of experience and insights which he is now using as a funder at IKEA Foundation. Nico graduated from Wageningen University where he studied Tropical Land Use.
